- Valeriu Butulescu

Thinker, writer and politician, born in 1953 (Preajba, Gorj – Romania). Engineer and Ph.D. in Sciences, he was elected MP after the revolution of 1989. With more than 20 books (poetry, essays, plays and translations), and aphorisms published in some 25 languages, he is freeman of more than one city, and bearer of several prizes, including Naji Naaman's Literary Prize for 2006 (Honor Prize).
